During this relaxed and informal day you will learn new skills to make your very own fabulous sterling silver bangle. Choose to make either two thinner hammered bangles held together with a jump ring or one thicker bangle. The course covers a range of silversmithing techniques and is a fantastic introduction to working with silver.

Techniques covered:

• How to thread and use a piercing saw

• Using a jeweller’s bench peg

• How to shape and size your bangles

• How to solder silver

• Filing and texturing

• How to polish your jewellery for a professional finish

We provide all the equipment you will need, including Sterling Silver to make the bangle. As well as your completed masterpiece you'll also take away a course manual, giving you a solid foundation of skills.

There'll be tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake. We also finish the day with a glass of Prosecco, giving you time to admire your creations.

Please note: Closed shoes must be worn and long hair tied back. Please bring your reading glasses if you use them. Over 16s only, with accompanying adult.
